Artist's Comments
I recently read the manga "Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind" and fell in love with the story and the art. It's by Hayao Miyazaki.
This particular scene was from Volume 6, page 94. I love Miyazaki's unique way of shading. He does these lines that act as shadows (you can see an example of that on Kui's beak). Kui and her egg belongs to Hayao Miyazaki. |
